This sounds fantastic! I'm definitely up for a interlaced US/UK book as the stories were (mostly) connected to each other.

Found a 1986 #Transformers UK storybook last week from a comic book shop. The story is a hardback with illustrations called "Deadly Paradise". I'd never heard of it before. It's similar in tone to the Ladybird books. The #TFWiki has details about it tfwiki.net/wiki/Deadly_.... I enjoyed the story!
