Mine grows fast too. I let it get pretty shaggy and it still needs a full cut every 6-8 weeks.

I prefer fake, but my wife loves a real tree and I do enjoy the family activity of going to pick one out every year. I DO NOT enjoy the $150+ I get stuck paying annually for it, but it’s a fun family tradition
