I hate to say it but sometimes it can be worth it to talk to your neighbors. Apparently the guy a couple houses down used to be a chocolatier and gave us these amazing chocolate/shortbread/caramel things, entirely homemade 🤤

So our old house is up for sale already... there were 8 trees in the backyard and they're ALL gone 🤬🤬 We had an arborist come out at one point who confirmed all were healthy except the maple, and even that one had years left. At least there's a nice overly-fertilized lawn there now 🙄

I have to start a medication contraindicated with breastfeeding, which means I need to wean H. Everyone says I should be happy with what I've accomplished, and I am, but it still sucks because it isn't really my choice.

H was in daycare for 2 days. She already has a cold. So long, nearly 6 months illness-free. She didn't even get the nasty virus I brought home from work, though I did mask around her. Sigh. It was inevitable.
