but then where is the anger? is it something internal? is he mad about himself for being unlovable in his father's eyes? maybe he's confronted his dad about it but was always met with silence but never had he talked about that, ever

i tried reasoning over his actions but i'm still confused... specifically with how he is supposed to be representing envy among the 14 kleshas. i was thinking maybe he was envious of school children due to their innocence and how they obtain their parents' unconditional love (supposedly, hopefully)

it’s just very refreshing to see the effects/similarities between a parent/guardian and a child in fiction. many stories tend to kill off their parents early on to shape their character to their own convenience and to me it often falls flat so it was just really endearing to see it in ooe

om the same vein oosaki’s grandmother must’ve been a kind woman who taught oosaki to be considerate and caring even though his own way was pretty rough to say the least

like there’s some truth to say that he’s just a tsundere but before all that he is so paranoid and yet so stern and finding out that his grandmother may more or less had a similar attitude just rounded him up so well to me and i really liked how he ended out to be
