📸 Apollo 17’s lunar rover, co-designed by Polish engineer Mieczysław Bekker, the namesake of the program. Bekker helped create the rovers for Apollo 15–17.

💡A key insight: the value of qualitative methods in capturing impacts that bibliometric indicators alone may overlook, making a compelling case for adopting mixed-method approaches in evaluating grant schemes.

The study finds mobility programs do more than generate publications and grants: they also promote skill development and the exchange of good practices.

❓ But how much do we really trust science and scientists? An international research team from the Trust in Scientists and Science-related Populism (TISP) project, including Adam Płoszaj and Ewa Zegler-Poleska of our Lab and EUROREG @euroreg-uw.bsky.social, explored this question.
