how quickly the system moved for him. He then had 6 weeks of concurrent chemo & radiation, then major surgery a month after that. The end result? No treatment bill & he's still with us at 93 & doing well. We are beyond grateful to out healthcare system here in Canada. /2

Absolutely correct! There are wait times for elective procedures, depending on where you live. But not if it's urgent. My dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer at age 82. Within 2 weeks, he had 6 different appointments to see an oncologist, surgeon & for various tests. I couldn't believe /1
