My new mantra is “lift every voice”. We must not be silent. We must again name what is happening repeatedly. We must use our power because we do have it. We might not know what it is but we do have it. We must show other how to access their power. We must teach others how to use that power! Woke Up

Maddow: I think it is a bad mistake to let Joy Reid walk out the door. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend. I do not defend it.

Firing highly (or any) qualified black people and women is racist sexist and bigoted. Congrats Trump you are three for three? Where is the indignation from the senators who supported the people he is firing?

Instead of closing diversity equity and inclusivity office we should open up new ones everywhere. Closing offices was not a law that was thoughtfully debated but an executive order from someone I did not vote for.

I honestly want to know why the legislators who believe in “right to life” also do not support Head Start, free and reduced lunch programs, and trans youth. Please could someone explain to them that life does not end at birth and if you care about the embryo you should also care about the child.

Why am I posting. I am doing this for me, I am posting because I need to do something, I can yell into a pillow but I need action. This daily sometimes more activity is action. I do it need followers to start my own movement I just need to move.
