I second the super-easy in Texas comment. I never do more than one or two seedlings since the vine tends to grow huge. You’ll need a sturdy trellis. I harvest when they are really young and eat cooked like zucchini or as a soup. The ones I miss, stay on and turn into sponges.

Great in the air fryer with a tiny bit of oil, salt, garlic powder and paprika but also raw with salt and other herbs if handy.
