Students explain the incidence of cancer in elephants, manatees, naked mole rats, dogs, & Galápagos Giant Tortoises. Learning activities include a hands-on gel electrophoresis lab, a bioinformatics activity, a p53 protein modeling activity, & an exploration of cladograms and genomic evolution. 2/3
