While ANU is pickering this Chinese university spent $30 million in just one year to build a state of the art cryo-EM facility. ANU 'leadership' must understand that ANU's capital is its reputation and its excellent staff, both of those are put through the wringer right now. What will be left?

We ended up in a time where people just make up stuff as they go along. Truly Orwellian times. As it stands, there are up to 100 staff still undergoing forced redundancies at ANU this year... Terrible.

I guess GenAI is confused by the similar 'sounding' words
"Fusarium" and "Fusiform" making it one thing while these genera are separated by millions of years of evolution.
