I’ve always wanted to be a woodworker, building tables, refinishing old furniture, painting was a trade I learned but ran into the dreaded need more experience, even though I had 1k hours as an apprentice.

Whats sad is how much they don’t believe any of it but make a show espousing how cool they think they are. The optics are a feature unfortunately. What money can buy but can’t fix is deeply rooted psychological problems.

I learned this in my early 20s. The system is designed for over indulgence, work, pretending. I just thought it ain’t for me, and thusly chose wisely what to with my time.

Black bears, turkeys, hawks, rooster, tons of cardinals, crows, and very rare deer. Whats interesting is none of these critters seem phased by humans. Turkey sounds are intense the whole earth feels that power.
