Speaker Johnson: What are you hiding?

You’re more interested in covering up what happened at the Epstein Mansion than protecting Americans’ health care.
I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.
November 10, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting
November 10, 2025 at 2:33 AM
America is in the midst of a Republican-made health care crisis—a crisis so severe, so urgent, and so devastating for American families that I cannot support a continuing resolution that fails to address it.

I am voting NO.

If Republicans want to talk about long-term fixes to ACA affordability, Democrats are ready.

But in the meantime, doing nothing is derelict. People will go bankrupt, people will lose insurance, and people will get sicker.

Republicans cannot continue doing nothing.
November 8, 2025 at 9:16 PM
The only reason Republicans have dragged this shutdown on for so long is simply because Republicans don’t want to lower healthcare costs.

They are happy to let 24 million Americans see their premiums DOUBLE on average.
November 8, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Today on the Senate floor:

Democrats made an offer to Republicans to re-open the government and extend the ACA tax credits for one year.

We’re calling their bluff.

The ball is in their court.
November 8, 2025 at 1:37 AM
The path forward is simple and achievable: reopen the government, extend the existing ACA tax credits for one year, and begin bipartisan talks on long-term healthcare affordability.

The ball is in Republicans’ court.
November 7, 2025 at 8:21 PM
DEMS SIMPLE PROPOSAL:
A simple one year extension of existing ACA tax credits
Re-open the government
Establish committee to continue negotiations for long-term lower healthcare costs
November 7, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Thank you, Speaker Pelosi, for everything.
November 6, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Nice to see he woke up enough after his Gatsby party to realize that the government is still shutdown because of the Republicans and healthcare is still spiking because of the Republicans.
November 5, 2025 at 5:11 AM
What Democrats have warned about for months is now here.

Open enrollment for health care has begun.

And because of Donald Trump and the Republicans, healthcare premiums for millions of Americans across the country are spiking.

Let’s break it down:
November 3, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Maybe I should file a complaint with the FCC against the Trump White House for editing his unhinged 60 Minutes interview.

It will use the exact same language Trump lodged against Vice President Harris.

Republicans have done everything in their power to raise your health care costs and kill SNAP for millions of hungry Americans.
November 1, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Trump is trying to withhold SNAP benefits from hungry families, children, seniors, and our vets.

He's weaponizing hunger.
November 1, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Open enrollment for health care starts today, and Americans are seeing how their premiums will skyrocket.

But the government is still shut down because Donald Trump and the Republicans refuse to fix the health care crisis they’ve created.
November 1, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Look at this chart.

Thanks to Republicans, this is how much more families in New York will have to pay each month for their health insurance.
November 1, 2025 at 5:41 PM
BREAKING THIS MORNING:

Open enrollment for health care starts today—and premiums are set to SKYROCKET because of the Republicans.

They are refusing to reopen the government and address the health care crisis they created.

BIG COURT WIN: I’m announcing that we just won a big court case as a lead plaintiff to stop the Trump administration from disenfranchising Americans, and especially women and service members, through his voter suppression EO.
October 31, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Donald Trump actually cares more about his toilet than he does about fixing your healthcare.
October 31, 2025 at 8:06 PM
NEWS: Democrats just forced a vote to end Donald Trump’s national emergency declaration against Canada and put a stop to this asinine trade war with our neighbors to the north.

And the Senate passed it!

Donald Trump is a vindictive and heartless man.

Never before in American history has a president cut off SNAP during a shutdown, including Trump in his first term.

But now he is manufacturing a hunger crisis to bludgeon the American people so he doesn’t have to fix healthcare.
October 29, 2025 at 6:25 PM
It has been 39 days since House Republicans have shown up for work.
October 28, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Instead of fixing healthcare

Donald Trump is spending
$40 billion to Argentina
$300 on his ballroom
$170 million for two private jets for Kristi Noem
October 28, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Trump says there’s no money to pay federal workers, but he’s spending:

$20 to $40 billion to bail out Argentina
$300 million on his vanity ballroom
$172 million on two luxury jets for Kristi Noem
Hundreds of millions for outfitting his foreign jet
