Yes absolutely. Not saying it would be a great model or sharepic anyways ;-)

I was thinking along these lines: assuming a married couples owns all of it jointly, but risk aversion is individual specific: If my wife is more risk averse than I am, let her take care of the safety net savings, so she doesn’t have to deal with the risk if I can stomach it for both of us

Yes, lots of really strange things in that picture. It doesn’t even explain address the title at all (why not one more or one fewer account?)

I know this is not the argument their making and the sharepic is stupid.

But wouldn’t this make sense from a household perspective if women are more risk averse than men?

With the beans I recently got gifted I’m never quite sure which one it is.

Nicht laminiert, nicht gültig.

Oh nice, he even studied at Marzellengymnasium, called Dreikönigsgymnasium today, Colognes oldest school. The school is very proud of Georg Simon Ohm and Adolph Kolping. And of course Carl Schurz and Daniel Brühl, not necessarily in that order. Never once mentioned Dirichlet when I was there…

Every once in a while I do, tho I generally try to reduce my YouTube time. Will check the video out, Crew Expansion seems like a major step for the channel.

You might enjoy reading Hans Peter Grüner's mechanism design paper on freedom. It has an application to freedom of speech in one of the later sections. I don't quite remember the setup, just wanted to let you know.

I like telling non academics that, yes, correlation doesn’t imply causation, but no correlation also doesn’t imply no causation. They are always so confused 😁🤔

Whose expectation tho?

@hbru.bsky.social suggested over dinner yesterday that our age isn't a scalar, but rather some weighted average of different ages. In that sense, we both might be 75 in our desire to curb the communications chaos. But we can still be 12 years old when it comes to enjoying wordplay or so ;-)

Day 2 starts with Simon Schulten on print flyers. They examine the impact of switching from print store flyers to digital ads on revenue and visits through a randomized controlled trial with a large retailer. Turns out the print flyers work better. Very convincing evidence!

Is this something the Trump administration is driving or is it a pre-existing push by the DOJ?
