When I was 18, I took a semester off & lived with some dear friends.
Part of my “rent” was making dinner once a week and shepherds pie was once of the favorite meals I taught myself how to cook.
20 years later, I don’t cook it nearly as often…but it’s infinitely more bougie.

Leftovers Done Right: Homemade Bread with Turkey, bacon, green bean casserole, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry Dijon aioli, provolone and Gouda.
Buttered the outside with a spiced compound butter, gave it the ol’ “grilled cheese treatment” and then finished in the oven
