This has got to be one of the worst weeks ever. The president’s decision to withhold billions of federal funds has put programs like mine in a chokehold. Can anyone stop this madness?

Trump is withholding over $6 billion in federal education grants, including funding for after-school care, summer camps, English learner programs, and adult literacy. The freeze, part of a review to align with Trump’s agenda, has left states scrambling as the money was expected on July 1.

I can’t help but pray that someone in the Republican Party pulls on their moral compass to join with Dems to stop this assault on our democracy. As an educator, it saddens me to hear my colleagues express concerns about possible layoffs.

Trying to be positive, but this week alone has placed me in a somber mood. Seriously praying that our democracy will survive a second term.

What is the plan, dems? Never thought I’d see a day when a president was critical of people with disabilities. This is atrocious.

Two plane crashes in one week. A president who lacks empathy for the American people. Tariffs going into effect on Saturday… guess DEI is to blame.

Yesterday was hard. Watching the impending desecration of our country by a man who was voted into office by the American people. What were they thinking? Do they not see what I see?
Will anyone in the Republican Party put up guardrails for this tyrant?
