I want think they just don't care because even they can't be dumb enough to believe any of the stuff they're doing will be popular. But, I've also learned that you can never underestimate just how stupid the people in this regime really are.

It's not even new. Before he was even sworn in his 1st term, it was well known foreign governments were literally buying influence with him through his DC hotel, and even the Dems in Congress largely didn't care.

It's exactly why he brought so many crypto bros into his regime with him. Argentina is the testing ground, but unlike their failed Kansas Experiment, they're going to keep dumping in as much US taxpayer money into Argentina as it takes to pretend it's successful.

We can't forget the time he chose evil commie dijon mustard over American yellow freedom mustard. Truly an impeachment offense if there ever was one.
November 14, 2025 at 3:11 PM
She's also 1 of the 2 people most responsible for Epstein remaining free as long as he did. Both of whom just happened to get appointed to cabinet positions by trump.
November 13, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Well, of course he is. There's a reason it was him specifically that went to "interview" Maxwell, when such an interview would normally be done by someone several steps lower on the DOJ hierarchy.
November 13, 2025 at 5:15 PM
If they actually do anything, I would bet it's effectively this. Because the only reason they'd do anything to begin is just for the sake of having something called trumpcare exist, but they really have no idea what to even put in a healthcare plan. It's been 15 years and they dont even have concept

Can't wait to be right back here 2 months from now with them insisting Lucy definitely won't pull the ball this time right after she just did it again.
November 10, 2025 at 5:49 PM
It's almost impossible to be a worse negotiator than trump, but Dems manage to pull it off consistently.
November 10, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Literally the same argument they made when Roy Moore was outed mid campaign. I don't know why this would surprise anyone.
November 10, 2025 at 5:34 PM
I mean, the bribes don't really stop. They still want those same people to pay them for speaking engagements or some cushy private sector job after they leave office.
November 10, 2025 at 1:02 PM
Nobody should be particularly surprised that this party is all too happy to be in a position where they don't control anything and therefore aren't really expected to do anything.
November 10, 2025 at 12:57 PM
As long as Republicans control the House, there is literally nothing he would ever be impeached for; and as long as Republicans control the Senate, there is literally nothing he would ever be convicted for.
November 10, 2025 at 12:54 PM
You're not wrong, but he is also a malignant narcissist who's obsessed with having his name on stuff.
November 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM
I wouldn't expect anything to ever be done about the overt corruption. Remember his 1st term started with it being well known foreign governments were literally buying favor with him through his DC hotel and even Dems largely just didn't care.
November 8, 2025 at 2:27 PM
But it is funny that the best they can come up with is a guy who's never even ran for any public office.
November 8, 2025 at 2:23 PM
I would bet her entire campaign will be pretty much singularly focused on attacking him.
November 8, 2025 at 2:20 PM
I'd sure as hell hope not after Santos.
November 8, 2025 at 2:16 PM
I some something that if the average 8 point swing we saw on Tuesday happened nationwide in 2026, Dems would only gain 20 seats.

Enough for majority, but the system is clearly broken if that big of a swing only costs Republicans 10% of their seats.
November 8, 2025 at 12:31 PM
I don't know, I'm not entirely convinced that picture isn't 100% real.
November 8, 2025 at 8:40 AM
Extra funny considering they spent literally years relentlessly whining about participation trophies.
November 7, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Yeah, I graduated from college right into the worst part of it, and it damaged my career prospects in ways I still haven't recovered from, and don't expect I ever will.
November 7, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Seems likely, but they love their deniability. And if they vote for that, they'd suddenly have to own that decision with their constituents instead of being able to hide behind it being just trump doing it on his own.
November 6, 2025 at 2:46 PM
It's going to be bad bad when that pops. Probably the largest bubble in history and the rest of the market isn't doing well enough to mitigate any of that inevitable damage.
November 6, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Pretty sure they actually love when economic conditions are bad because people always still have to buy groceries and just associate their brand with low cost, that and they actually can undercut any competitor on price whenever they want.
