It definitely isn't new, but sometimes the movements do dovetail with the right-wing. The original porn wars in the 1970s and 80s aligned well with Reagan's goals, for instance.

And of course, not all feminists feel that all porn is violence against women.

This article has the hallmarks of the new anti-porn “feminism” movement that aligns with right-wing religious politics. It seems designed to shock and horrify, highlights only the stories of abuse, and implies a “porn culture” poisoning youth/men. Even if the stats are right, the angle is suspect.
