A 6-panel comic. The artist contemplates talking to students as part of a university lecture. It reads as follows. Panel 1: the artist is sat on a bench and indicated to be a 2020 graduate. "Me? Talk to students about life after uni?" Panel 2: Looking up into light. "I want to be hopeful for them" Panel 3: Shielding their eyes from that light. "But I've spent so much time inside my parents house, the sun is too bright for my eyes." Panel 3: The artist thinks while drawing this comic on the university grounds. "I wonder what they'll ask." Panel 4: In a glowing imagination of a lecture hall a student raises their hand and asks "Do you make enough money to live?" The artist answers "No." Panel 5: Looking concerned and seemingly shadowed by a dark cloud, the artist on the bench thinks "Oh boy..." End. A hero in what looks like dark armour and a cape, dramatically punches a bomb over an orange background, the bomb decorated with a skull symbol with x's for eyes inside a warning-sign style triangle. The bomb seems to have folded in half under the impact and been left with a fist-shaped dent in it's surface. The area of impact glows white and yellow. An illustration of Tolmeia Gregory in conversation with Charlie Hertzog Young at the VOICEBOX during Cheltenham Literature Festival 2023. The illustration is drawn in ink and brush, then been coloured digitally, and includes a stamp with the artist's details which reads: "Emily Shilton. Live Events Illustrator. @schielbou. schielbou.portfolio.site" An illustration of the interior of a Starbucks in Fukuoka, Japan. On the left, staff make coffee behind the counter. In the centre, students work at a long table reading from books and looking at laptops/ipads. On the right, a lone customer reads a book next to an empty chair, in front of a window wall. The illustration is drawn in a black ink brush pen over a loose sketch in green pen and is dated the 9th of February.
