An overnight fire consumed an industrial pile of Birch logs in Marathon Ontario, 08 July 2025. A mutual aid request saw us send 3 pumper apparatus. All units were released just after 8 AM.

Crews attended on Hwy17 just west of Pays Plat before noon today for a car vs tractor trailer collision. 1 adult was transported to the regional trauma center via air ambulance, while two other were transported by land ambulance.

Deck gun from the first arriving apparatus made short work of this locomotive fire. Fire caused by engine block failure.

Fatal CMV accident on Cavers Hill, Hwy 17 the morning of July 5th 2024. Seven units from Nipigon, Pays Plat, Schreiber and Terrace Bay attended. Water tank relay established from a nearby lake.
