Schaffner Press author Gustavo Eduardo Abrevaya was honored by the city of Buenos Aires, who proclaimed his novel THE SANCTUARY as the city's official book of the year in a televised award ceremony that featured authors Ana Maria Shua and Luis Gusmán as presenters.

We were saddened to learn that Todd Grimson, author of BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR, STAINLESS, and STABS AT HAPPINESS, died January after a fall at his home in Gresham, Oregon, at the age of 73.

They packed the Student Union Ballroom with 400+ people!
