The Halifax Citadel, fort built to protect the harbour in the early days of halifax, now a national historic site. Every day at 12pm they fire off the ‘noon day cannon’ in full period uniforms (British at the time) the picture was taken late mid to late 70s. parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/ns/h...
