The people of Glasgow must be cock-a-hoop about being able to get down south so much more quickly!

Interesting analysis though, be interesting to see what difference Phase 2 would (and maybe will) have made

Seem to be generally positive (and nothing is being downgraded!!)

I don't know, I quite like the ring of 33 Cav Square

Fair point, but I understand the freeze on petrol duty ends in September next year at which point the 5p cut will be reversed and will then rise annually with inflation? Also, aren’t we talking about on consultation on EV charging, not a firm policy?

Is the pilot drill pipe directionable? It looks like it from the animation, how is that achieved?

Definitely NOT a stupid question, a pretty salient observation actually

Yikes!! That must have been scary. I'm sure you will find the right treatment and get things under control soon (Soz for the tardy response!). Hope the filming went OK, looking forward to some HS2 content 😉

Spiffing video it is too. I wonder if they will sell the naming rights to the station like they do with sports stadiums 😋

Ah yes! I was on the BT interconnect team in the pioneering days of TSCR and Racal Vodafone, connecting the first two exchanges into the BT network, along with Mercury of course. Fun days of unlimited budgets and overtime by the bucket, it felt like it would last for ever! Feeling all nostalgic now!

You'll have to watch* them!

*Sorry (not sorry)

The Cellnet bit isn't correct anyway, that was the name of the network, the company was called TSCR (Telecom Securicor Cellular Radio Ltd) until BT bought out Securicor and it became know as BT Cellnet. Also, when BT was forced to demerge Cellnet, the name of it was MM02, later becoming o2

And he had the cheek to be employed and not seeking asylum as well

I think you are spot on about the Handsacre connection. Much better the money goes towards getting to Crewe - a much bigger priority at this point and probably better value for money
