A lot of people assumed his pledge to pour a hundred million dollars into the election was just noise. Then he dumped a quarter billion. No one thought he’d actually buy Twitter, then he did. He is a lunatic but he has proven to be extremely disruptive.

Truth is, they’ll sell it for pennies on the dollar, deregulate the extraction or resources and when the land is forsaken and the corporation wants to shed their liabilities it will be given back for a tax break, leaving US with a wasteland in need of remediation.

Tyrants prefer terrifying the most vulnerable to actually confronting legitimate threats to society. I’m actually surprised ICE hasn’t tried to provoke a fire fight (or just fake one) because it would absolutely give them an opportunity to militarize the process even further.

The most loathsome thing about these “freedom warriors” is they will sue a dairy out of existence when their kid suffers paralysis or death from the raw milk they insisted was safe. Second most, these are the people who complained about egg prices. Now they want $$$$ milk that goes for $20+ a gallon

The logistics of raw milk are going to keep it niche. It’s $24/G where I live and has an extremely short shelf life. A supply chain nightmare for creameries who prefer the longer shelf life of HTST pasteurized milk. Add to it, these idiots will surely sue a dairy out of business when they get sick.

They talked about the acceleration of the ‘22 quake as being significant. 1.46 G. It was closer to shore but deeper @ 17KM vrs today’s at 9.9KM.

Got the notice in Arcata. Shaking started 5 seconds or so later. Absolutely felt it, however it was not as intense as the Dec ‘22 quake of lower magnitude. Long waves it seemed.
