This ain't Mashad, this is the Takia Yokhin Mosque just south of Ayutthaya. The oldest mosque surviving the period of Persian residency, pilgrims still come to burn incense and drink holy water at ttomb of a venerated Muslim aristocrat named Chaokhun Takia or Sheikh Amad Maimum

This ain't Shiraz, this is Tomb of Sheikh Ahmad Qomi in Ayutthaya. The Persian merchant who settled in the Ayutthaya Kingdom in the early 17th century, founding the still powerful Bunnag family in Thailand.
