My nearly 11 yr old boy Sparks, a rescue I've had now for 3 yrs. Although incredibly photogenic, he's not much for being photographed. He is, however, a wonderfully behaved dog and an adorably cute couch potato. :) #dogsofbluesky #blacklab

I mentioned to my daughter how all of my flowers were still blooming, including this potted orange hibiscus. Welp... had a hard freeze here in Berkeley County, SC and it took care of all the pretties for this year.

This was Odin. We knew he was a high content as we picked him up at 6 wks. Both parents on the property. Sire a huge G/T*, the bitch was high content G/T and GSD. He stood 32" at the withers, we raw fed all our dogs for weight under control. *Gray or Timber is just semantics

Gaaahhhh! Realized I hadn't posted pics of my current babies! Eefa (3yrs) lounging on the couch and Sparks (11yrs) out wandering the yard yesterday. Both are rescue dogs who've got me wrapped around their paws.

This was Salem. While my husband walked our husky and wolfdog at a rest stop during a move from OK to SC, he came right up to them. One of the greatest #cats ever. #catsofbluesky

I've done #rescue for over 20 years. Other than my GSDs and border collie, my #dogs (and #cats) have been rescued or adopted. The goal is always "Rescue, Rehab, Rehome" I failed a lot on that last one. #dogsofbluesky #doglife
