Yep. I've been a night owl at every stage of my life. Always been a not terribly interesting thing about me - but it's apparently deeply transgessive to be awake at 1am now that I'm in my 50s.

You've been helpful nonetheless in providing me with terminology to try to find more information. I was aware generally that there were Ethiopian Jewish people in Israel, but had not heard the terms "Beta Israel" or "Falash Mura"

Would you be willing to share reading recommendations for someone (me) realizing I'm woefully under informed about the dynamics behind migration to Israel beyond the initial establishment of Israel as a State?
