Gee wiz, I don't think there's anything more satisfying than the Iconic Bunlithbrand Side-Mouth. Something about it triggers joy in my tiny brain every time.

But here's the thing, every attempt to wear down my resolve on this is only strengthening it, and I am sick of it. I don't think I can overstate just how sick of it I am, because you don't know the amount of AI generated shovelware that's been flooring my inboxes, but every day there's more of it.

Remember that? When artists spoke out against the whole NFT hype bubble, you had these absolute pieces of shit who would just steal their art and sell it as their own on crypto exchanges. People said resoundingly that they didn't want this, and they got their art stolen as an act of revenge.

That's what really gets me about these conversations, people who treat no as a challenge to be overcome, who try to wear people down, telling us it's inevitable, get used to it. There's an arrogance to the genAI proponent that I find truly detestable, it reminds me of those NFT bros stealing art...

Can we do with more nuance? Sure. I've gone to length before describing how AI generated assets can end up in games without even the devs knowing about it, because that shit is like digital asbestos and it's poisoning asset libraries.
But as a customer? If I say I don't want it, I don't want it!
