Does a deployment like this help make the technology more likely to make impactful change in the future though? I want change faster, too, but I still see this development as a net positive. Hopefully, Rondo (and Antorra) change industrial energy use widely…and this hopefully accelerates adoption.

3 mile island. The incident eroded public trust in nuclear. I wasn’t alive at the time, but I assume politicians / gov’t weren’t aggressively backing nuclear after 3 mile. Rising costs in the years following + Chernobyl effectively killed nuclear development in the US.
