Sorry to be dense, but how will these drugs work and at what stage? Used while someone has an active infection? Preventative? Will they contribute to a universal vaccine for viruses?

I dont get the outrage in this instance (but yeah eff the NYT and the other apologists). He isn't venerating CK. He is noting the horror of violence and acknowledging the devastation that this fuckwat's family must be feeling. I hate everything about that guy. But I can't condone shooting him.

I grew up in this county. There is a large Mennonite population there that does not vaccinate due to their religious beliefs. From what I can read from news stories from that area the cases are predominantly in that community.

Drive through Seminole and spot the number of businesses, shops and farms run by Mennonites. There’s E&P Fabrics on Main Street. There are at least six churches and a couple of schools.

I grew up in Loop TX in Gaines county. Article says only 46% of kindergarteners are vaccinated but the Mennonites home school, so I'm not sure if that is what is driving the low rates here. I imagine the county is deeply MAGA now.

It's all about capitalism. Let er rip cause we have to have people working. And safety measures (proper ventilation in public spaces, more time off for illness, free masks and vaccines cost a lot of money. Peoples lives are worth less than the almighty dollar. Both Repubs and Dems are guilty.
