For today’s #ArtAdventCalendar we’re Doing Science (aka printing the same laser transfer sampler image over and over with different variables and taking detailed notes until I figure out how to get good results from my homemade gel plate 🤓).

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 2 - back in 2019 I was assigned to make a piece of code-based art inspired by Bridget Riley’s work… I got so obsessed with the dots from Cosmos that it spilled over into this ceramic painting at my nephew’s birthday party!

I’ve been experimenting with monoprinting on homemade gelatine plates. This is my first attempt at a print that I had a clear vision for (as opposed to messing around with background techniques) and I didn’t quite nail how I’d imagined it, but it was a good learning experience!
