Girl math says this 5mi run is basically the same as my 5km run last week. I'm happy that I was able to keep my pace under 15:00!

Being staff at Eurofurence kept me too busy to run while in Germany, so this baby two mile run was my first in about a week and a half. Not bad for being able to hold onto an overall 14:30 pace.

Now that I have completed the virtual 5Ks with runDisney, I decided to test myself with an official in person 5K this weekend. Wish me luck y'all!

Wish I could, Sound Transit. Was not a fan of needing to arrive at Angle Lake 1hr+ before my train to camp for a chance at a parking spot because all 1,160 spots are full after 8-9AM. Working the PM shift meant I had no chance at finding a spot quickly, doubly so on game days.

I did it! I was actually faster than the minimum pace for runDisney, so I'm in pretty good shape for my first 5K.

Perks of living in western WA: Plenty of marinas nearby where you can relax with a nice drink while overlooking the water on a day off. This is nice.
