Well all those genre labels probably don’t hold a lot of weight anyway. There is probably a bit of spectrum of values held by those that listen to “Outlaw.” :)

Steve Earle is on Outlaw Country (Sirius xm) and he’s pretty far to the left. A lot of “alt-country” gets classified as outlaw and I think they’re more likely to be progressive than those listening to Jason Aldean and Toby Keith (i.e., commercial / pop country not outlaw). IMHO, claro
