What the hell, Guardian?!

Israelis were 'hostages' while Palestinians were 'prisoners and detainees'?

You fucking racists!

Rhydaman (Ammanford) is an amazing-looking small town (the closest town to where I grew up).

Look above the street-level shop fronts and you'll see the beautiful Victorian brick buildings of what was once an important coal industry administration town.

I'm getting Garth Marenghi vibes.

This is fantastic. Loved that series!

I'll throw in my very very old Batmobile oil painting. The shine's gone off some patches of it now.

Ha!

I have them lined up in my Next-to-Read list now.

Just bought a couple of Ulysses 31 mugs, since my daughter has just finished watching the entire DVD series boxset, for the second time.

She can have the mug with the characters on, and I'll have the Odyssey one. 😉

A couple of new DVDs for the collection arrived today.

Seen both before, but always good to own your own copies instead of depending on streaming and online rentals or inaccessible purchases.

I particularly like Sahara. A wonderful adventure film companion to The Mummy (1999).

I'll leave it like this for now.

Haven't taken the time to sit and draw like this in... years?

The graphite sticks I'm using are great.

I think it would have been Legend (Four Crystals of Trazere) on the Amiga.

Loved the really clever and open-ended spell creation process.

Every Which Way is West is a Fermi-themed microsetting for the action horror TTRPG Disposable Bags of Meat, which sees the Fermi crew visit a very wild west-ish sort of a planet...

Do you own our Special Edition ebook, @kieranfurie.bsky.social?

If not, I'll happily send you the exclusive Extra short story, Bitter Earth, set in the same universe.

I mentioned what I did with Scarlet Ferret, we bought both books (after scrabbling for cash), and exchanged contact details.

He's interested in stocking with us, and I'd absolutely love to help turn these paperbacks into Special Edition ebooks. The photographs in the book were amazing.

Name a TV show you feel like no one remembers but you:

Ultraviolet (1998)

At last! @thebrainofchris.bsky.social addresses the 'important' issues of science fiction: mono-biome planets.
