upon landing on a rooftop. She'd landed here to have cigarette. Bad for her, she knows, but it was a habit she picked up when she was 12 with no signs of stopping now.

As she stomped out the cigarette, a man fell from the sky and landed in front of her,

"Oh my God!"

God. She hated herself for even thinking it, but,

'Maybe I don't belong here...'

She left the manor moments later, wondering if anyone would notice she was gone.

She went into the city. Flew. Her favorite way to travel. She smiled, laughing as wind whipped her face.

Not worried about survival. Toni prodding Jen. MJ coddling Toni. Steve and Yelena offering to help Jarvis cook, Hank and Jan doing whatever Hank and Jan do... and Wanda... just kind of observing.

She loved them. They took her in when no one else would. But she couldn't help but feel as if...

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, had just returned from a month-long adventure in the depths of space. She and the rest of The Avengers barely made it back in one piece.

She was lucky to be alive. And happy to be back on Earth soil. Back in Avengers Mansion. Having normal conversations.

She got excited. She knew Peter. He was one of the smartest, most noble heroes of Earth. A wonderful hero and a greater friend.

"Who's your boss?"

"I'm not sure... that device will take us where we need to go?"

"Well, that's honestly a hard one to explain too... erm... it's not my world's Doom. It's a Doom from the year 2099. I haven't spoken to Reed yet, but I'm under the impression that we know next to nothing about Doom 2099 and his plans..."

She was taken aback by the tech on the man's wrist.

She looks to her feet,

"We think this is the doing of Doom."

"Iron Man? No. Toni with an 'I.' The Iron Lass. Everything else though?"

She gives a thumbs up,

"Right on the money. She can also be kind of a bitch."

Wanda looks into the man's yellow eyes,

"The multi-verse is in danger. Our worlds may very well collide and collapse in on each other."
