I watched closely when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, hoping for mass resistance: riots, uprisings, a leader rallying the people against the mafia-state that started an unjust war.
Nothing happened. Disappointed, but not surprised.
Now, I’m getting that same feeling of deja vu watching the US.
