I’d love to disappear on a road trip for Christmas Eve/day so I don’t have to be around my family which is sad but also I feel like I’d be 400% less anxious if I were by myself.
But, nothing is open on those days so I’d be absolutely bored out of my mind getting “omg where are you” texts all day.

I always get anxious in December because I feel obligated to get people gifts for Christmas. I’m a bad friend and very absorbed in personal projects so I don’t know what anybody in my life is even remotely interested in.

I yoinked out the old vinyl floor to get a nice fresh base for the new stuff. Have to wait for the cold weather to fuck off before I can prime the floor and install it though.

Removed the water damage from the camper’s bedroom floor and wall. Ready for new plywood and paneling. Then in the springtime when it’s warmer I can lay down my new flooring. For now, I’ll keep chipping away at my project list.

Did some electrical work on the new place and emptied the water and poop tanks so nothing freezes when the weather gets colder.
Next quick project is to build a thin wooden box to cover the wheel well (which I already insulated). This will essentially just be a small footrest under my desk!

Been cutting my own hair for years and after cutting it last night I’ve gotten a ton of compliments today. Feels weird. Not used to getting compliments and idk how to handle it but awkwardly shout AW THANKS.

Spent the day working on my camper. Tore out the absurdly large dining booth and got rid of the “world’s lumpiest™️” sleeper sofa. Now it’s super roomy; I’ll have room for my desk and still enough space to get in VR and play beat saber.
