I have several reasons why I would never just use generated code. One of those is not knowing where it came from. Even with things under the MIT or BSD 2-clause notice, they still require attribution and the text of the license.

I want to just kind of learn things here and there with FreeBSD, learn how to use a compositor and window manager without a desktop environment. The desktop environments I can use on my other computers. Maybe I'll learn a bit more about how ZFS works, too.

I also at one point was having some trouble getting the most recent stable version of LilyPond back on another computer. Some had an old version (Debian), some had the unstable version. FreeBSD had the latest stable version. That was good. And with it and lyluatex, I completed an assignment.
