Ju: @CoreyBrickley Seguir .. . i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful: 1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference 2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes 3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid Traducir post photo of model posing as an elegant elf woman that ive blocked out with a chunky red brush in a separate window ive redrawn the red blocks, then have drawn details over the red blocks, using the photo+red transparency as reference final doodle of the figure drawing without the red blocking

mascfuyu asahe/him (transmasc mafuyu asahina) as Lu Guang from Link Click. Mafuyu usually wears glasses but takes them off to use his powers… also cat coded like lu guang mizuki akiyama as cheng xiaoshi from link click. mizuki and mafuyu are photography partners and they’re definitely in love. ena as qiao ling, she’s always having to deal with mizumafu showing affection in the photography studio… ena is a mizumafu supporter though, as a big sis would! (qiao ling is cxs’s older sister figure, so she treats mizuki as family. There’s a lot to explore with mizuki and ena’s backstory in the au but I have to gotten to that yet)
