Funny thing is that when you play Star Trek: Bridge Crew everyone who has watched Trek falls right into their roles on the bridge and perform them to the best of their ability.
Sure there is some goofing off, but when it's go time everyone locks in. It's neat to see that from first-time players.

The way replicators assemble food from atoms, yes. They could safely eat food from replicators.
However, if they ordered something with their allergy in it, it would still cause a reaction.
Now I wonder if the Ship's Computer is smart enough to put an "Are you sure?" prompt before creating food.
