PBS did an article that more military personnel are seeking legal advice. I'm so sorry you guys are going through this. I understand a lot of you are wondering if what you're doing is legal? Here is the GI Rights Hotline at 1-877-447-4487 M-F 0900-1800 and some weekends. To our men and women who serve the United States. You may be asked or question what is being asked of you. Please remember, your loyalty is to OUR Constitution. You took an oath to defend our country from enemies foreign and domestic. I really appreciate all who have and are serving. Thank you for your service! My father was a Vietnam vet. He. was so proud to be in the military. Dad was sick a lot. The VA agreed the illnesses were from Agent Orange. Dad fought, defended, and died for a country he believed in. We are in scary times. I'm scared too. specifically The U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 2, designates the President as the Commander in Chief of the armed forces. This means the President has the authority to direct military operations. However, this power is not absolute, and military personnel are ultimately obligated to obey lawful orders from the Commander in Chief, with (their highest loyalty being to the Constitution, not just the individual in the executive branch.) Personally i feel like its a little late for this, since the republicans in congress have already proven, by voting to cut it, that they will not vote for this.

I feel like its just screaming into the wind at this point.
