I feel like Flatline alone as an episode is pretty undeniable proof that a female Doctor can TOTALLY work if the dialogue is actually written well lol

I've never been able to describe what doesn't work for me about her since I really DO like her at points but this makes so much sense tbh

there are too many pauses in long 5 second sentences that like, Matt would've said in 1 breath (or even Clara being the doctor for example)

“the doctor used to not be a white dude!!!

but then they got mind wiped and restarted life as a white dude and so acted like a white dude for 2000 years” is honestly WAY more funny when you think about it

idk why I keep going back on there expecting something different. people are so BITTER there like damn!!
