She can definitely dunk in the right situation, I hope she does it sometime.

Chelsea/Shakira pick and rolls are going to be a problem.

You could show me a picture of an extraterrestrial wandering down 5th Avenue in NYC and I would believe that before I believed this if I hadn't seen it happen in real time.

I have watched every single WNBA game possible the last 2 years because of CC.

I hadn't watched the W in many years but got caught up in the CC hoopla and tuned in to watch her first game with the Fever. I found out I really enjoy the women's game and was hooked on the league.

So kind of true.

I think she will be part of the new "development pool" they are using this season.

From: www.unrivaled.basketball/news/unrival...

"...while an additional six players will join the season-long development pool, further deepening the talent and competitiveness of Unrivaled rosters."
Unrivaled Adds Two New Clubs Ahead of Second Season with "Breeze BC" and "Hive BC" Set to Debut in January
An additional 18 players will join Unrivaled this year between the two clubs and a development player pool, bringing the total number of players in Unrivaled...

Agreed.

The current CBA, that expires at the end of October, has both a salary cap (max total salaries for each team) and a minimum and maximum salary per player so owners cannot go past either of those thresholds.

I fell in love with her game during Unrivaled, she was soo good there. With the expansion coming she had better be a starting pint guard somewhere next season.

I would say you are better than writing out of context click bait slop like this, but that wouldn't be true.

It's funny that you ask this the very day David Berri -@wagesofwins.bsky.social‬ - posted this: wagesofwins.substack.com/p/why-it-mat...
Why It Matters
This past weekend I published “Exploring the Gender-Wage Gap in a World of Exogenous Revenue: The Case of Professional Basketball” in the International Journal of Empirical Economics. This paper explo...

Yeah! The local Seattle broadcast (which is the League Pass broadcast) caught it.

This is very funny. I don't know that it makes up for your crazy Bria Hartley takes, but it might.
August 14, 2025 at 3:13 PM
You have to wait a bit on these. For some reason the player has to be released before they can be signed to another contract.

She is DeLino's niece? I figured but wasn't sure

It was confirmed on the Ion broadcast last night

Berger is still on the Wings rooster isn't she?
August 8, 2025 at 9:39 PM
After those trades the Mystics still have 2 All-Stars on rookie contacts AND have 3 first round draft picks, and the right to swap one of those, AND more cap space than any team in the league going into the next off season where almost every player not on a rookie contract will be a free agent

How many plans/subscriptions would you need to watch every NBA game? Or baseball?
August 6, 2025 at 2:49 AM
These numbers you keep throwing around do not exist. No one has ever seen the WNBA's books, and even if they had there are so many accounting tricks that the books would be meaningless.

The WNBA is NOT in Financial Trouble.
And it is time reporters stop believing every story the NBA tells about profits!

So you acknowledge that NBA teams cook their books to turn profit into losses but can't accept that the WNBA teams might be doing the same thing?

July 26, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Oh look, the NY Times repeating a league source's assertion without any proof or follow up investigation, what a surprise!
July 26, 2025 at 5:49 PM
You read this a couple of days ago and are still pushing the $40 mil loss lie?

There's no "facts" here for fans. Anything sources say is BS. Accounting tricks make the books BS.

The best fans can do is to stop helping the owners spread their propaganda and support the union while they negotiate.
July 26, 2025 at 3:35 PM
There is no proof of that $40 million number. Anonymous NBA/WNBA source(s) asserted that and some New York reporters then reported it as fact without doing any journalism at all.

In the very small chance you do care about the issue this is a good read - wagesofwins.substack.com/p/the-wnba-i...
