4/n a KEY concern of the Cass review was that kids were getting meds too soon, too often, too much.

This study completely disproves that belief. Fewer than 10% of kids got any meds. 4.7% got puberty blockers. 8% got hormones.

Ever. At any point in their medical journey.

6/n In addition, the incidence of GD diagnosis in kids was extremely low. While it increased by a factor of 50 between 2014 and 2021, at the end of the study it was still at 0.044%.

For context, the cutoff for something to be considered a "rare" disease is 0.05%.

Please encourage folks to check their flood insurance and warn of the dangers a rain storm could bring. We can’t have another devastating debris flow as in Montecito just a month after the Thomas fire. Thank you.

As an 8th grader, my son was assigned to read “When the Emperor Was Divine” and “We Hereby Refuse”, which I chose to read as well. We were so moved by the recounts rarely told today in America. Thank you for sharing this. I have such respect and admiration for all of you who endured.
