The low-hanging mist from Loch Venacher on a lovely winter day in Scotland

Adidas just didn't bother at all with the new Scotland top.

Copy and paste template effort because they were spending all their time on this amazing Germany top:

The only redeemable thing about Gianni Infantino’s shamelessly insane presidency of FIFA is that the fall is going to be epic and catastrophic.

I'm not saying the Athletic have taken their eye off their Scottish football coverage in recent years, but the Scottish top-flight hasn't been the "SPL" in over 10 years...

Nobody can beat Bayern in the Bundesliga because nobody wants to beat Bayern in the Bundesliga 🤷‍♂️

What a band. What a show.

Leverkusen are just about keeping their head above water, but are far from convincing.

And they look like a club that are still struggling after a very difficult summer transfer window.

Since the start of 2025, the Premier League has added more market value to its squad than La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Serie A combined.

I mean, look how far back he was for Liverpool last night. He actually played really well, but he might as well be playing right-back for them.

He didn't register a single successful dribble in the final third last night.

Dortmund may have signed a Bellingham in the summer, but the real long-term replacement to Jude is undoubtedly Felix Nmecha

It’s quite hard to pin down what’s changed at Liverpool, but hopefully these numbers give a decent picture of what I think has gone wrong.

Klopp’s Liverpool were - unsurprisingly - closing down machines. But that’s not really been the case under Slot.

A little too Postecoglou from Arne Slot, for my liking:

I don't really understand why a millionaire making false claims about how dangerous London is made it on to the BBC Sport home page.

The article then goes on to Jenson Button losing "valuables" and "socialite" Shafira Huang being robbed. What is this?!

I’ll go to great lengths to avoid the international break.

Man Utd are technically doing better this season compared to this point last season.

Arsenal, Liverpool and most definitely Man City… are not.

"The shadow that bred them can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own..."

If in doubt, turn to Tolkien for wisdom.

Man City are in the midst of their worst start to a Premier League season since Pep Guardiola arrived at the club. And yet... Erling Haaland continues to break records.

A new video on how the striker seems to be dragging his team from one game to the next: tinyurl.com/3ztp94wp

What a wild article for the BBC to write 😂

Michael Olise isn’t just a good player for Bayern Munich.

He’s on a completely different level to the rest of Vincent Kompany’s attack:

I can’t believe how quickly Alien:Earth went from being a wonderfully nuanced blend of Bladerunner and Alien to some crap Scooby Doo farce on an island in the space of just eight episodes.

Basically the TV version of this meme:

I know bragging about reading books is never a good look, but it took me the best part of two years to chew through this behemoth.

A really insightful read. But this was my Everest. And I conquered it.
