I'm hoping to make something that is cozy, playable solo, and focus on character growth and finding connection and relationship... let's hope it'll eventually get finished uwu)v

AND- though the academy game is intended to be lighthearted, it has a source book that explains more about the chaotic world setting, along with another adjacent game that deals with the darker themes... because, ofc, what's a magical girl adventure without some psychological horror uwu

Also, the rulebook explanations are quite clear, it's where I finally understand how to use some common mechanics in PbtA and Forged in the Dark like how to use clocks and flashbacks

it's- where do I start. I fricken love it. I love magical girls, coz they're sparkly and powerful, and I love magical school coz it's quirky. And now it's double quirky. I know it's designed for younger player and experienced GMs but- I'm so tempted to play it

The author, Jordan Palmer, also has a bunch of other interesting games on their page worth checking out. One that catch my eyes is a game about wizards that time travel to prevent robot uprising apocalypse :3c

It's less about saving the future, but rather about the cost and loss of that victory

The game isn't exactly my cup of tea, but it's still good for me to learn, I guess. It has gangs, factions, and breaking school laws uwu) if you are the kind that would enjoy the dealing of underworld kind of tone (except as a highschool girl in magical school) then this might just be your game

Depends ig, if you are told that by a deer, it's probably good to interpret it as "you are as baffling as a fatal tragedy I should have expected when I wander in the middle of the night's dark."
