I do not know any knitters, except my mom who would refuse to make them for me. (Boomers.)

Would you - or anyone following - be willing to make these on commission for me?

So I texted my mom and she immediately texted back "The Nightingale" by @kristin-hannah.bsky.social. 💙📚

Readers who search for happy endings with appreciate this book, but that's not what I was looking for after the first. 💙📚

This was more about memories the character had of situations earlier in her life which the reader hopes will end up in a murder, and then don't, and then the story, and the character's life, is wrapped up with a neat little bow. 💙📚

I read "An Elderly Lady is Up To No Good" earlier this year and I was really looking forward to "An Elderly Lady Must Not Be Crossed". Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this one as much as the first. The first was full of chaotic silly murder, which was exactly what I was looking for. 💙📚

This book was like a 101 class on "tactics cults use", and if you've spent any time watching any documentaries on cults from Jonestown to LuLaRoe, you already know what's in this book, and you can probably skip it. 💙📚

(though I still question whether these are still done? Are they done on both the corporate and warehouse sides, or just one or the other? What about their games and movies divisions, are they done there?), most of the content in this book I already knew. 💙📚

I'm a fan of Amanda's podcast "Sounds Like a Cult" as well as just cult content (documentaries, stories) in general, so I assumed I'd get a lot out of Amanda Montell's book. Unfortunately, I did not. I learned a few things, like about Amazon's loyalty pledges... 💙📚
