There was a "Golden Age of Cinema" circa 1965-1977, where a new gen of "counter culture" film makers were able to get, relatively easisly, films funded by the mainstream studios, and to find ready audiences for these as well. This for the most part ended in 1977, after the likes of Jaws & Star […]

Obtanium is excellent if you already know what you want to use, but for discovery, I really like NeoStore, because you can easily add in a bunch of vetted repositories (like Izzy OnDroid) in addition to what is included with F-droid, and I like the gui for it as well.
