As is the norm, I’ve been listening to “Come From Away”’s soundtrack on and off all day.
“On the edge” played as I drove home from work, and I sure felt called out by these lyrics… and with that, I’m logging off social media for a little while (or at least today.)

I’m definitely not a farm girl… but I am the granddaughter of a Midwest farmer so I like a bit of farm-time occasionally and it’s been too long since I’ve been on the (now my cousin’s) farm. Beautiful corn and cousins and cats (but not so much the clouds)

Haven’t watched a single game this season, but there’s still something about my hometown boys winning the Memorial Cup that just fills me with such joy.

I hit up a succulent sale today, and dropped a few off to my brother/his family. I sang praises of my burro’s tail I purchased at this sale 5 years ago as I gave them one.
Then I got back home & looked at mine adoringly only to find it’s blooming for the first time! 😍😍 I love tiny succulent blooms!

My friend who has chickens brought me a dozen eggs this week and 1) it’s beautiful to get free eggs these days and 2) look at the colours! The eggs themselves are so beautiful!
