Basically, I really really like Inside No.9. And Psychoville. And Sherlock. And The League of Gentlemen. And… others. So yeah. We’ll have no trouble here. 👍
HAVE FUN!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Bless him. I obviously love when he does that "genuinely furious" Reece thing — always hilarious — but I've always wondered if it's just another character for him to play when he's uncomfortable having to be himself? Well. We all love him either way! ❤️❤️

And no need to reel in any of the fangirling — it’s defo a book that deserves it! (Also otherwise I’ll just be fangirling on my own and it’s nicer to do it with company innit 😅)

A TV version would be incredible — still COULD happen (I’m desperately clinging onto the possibility😂) but maybe someone else would have to initiate it and get Mark on board somehow…
I also loved the unexpected full-circle ending. That was both genius and hilarious — a good summary of the book! 😅❤️

YES!! I finished The Vesuvius Club today — I absolutely LOVED IT! Mark is just such a beautiful, talented writer (and just person in general). 🥰

I thought the "good cop, furious cop" from Mr Shearsmitz summed it up nicely 😭😭

Of course! Though... moving towards American English (if that is even happening at all — different debate) would probably be a step in that direction anyway so... Maybe the resistance against it isn't really about language after all 🤔

Today I was with two of my friends, neither of whom have seen No.9, and one of them mentioned the film Psycho, and the other said "oh I've seen that! Where she gets stabbed in the shower." I replied in a very bad Bolton accent, "Didn't know they'd made a book of it though." They looked at me blankly
