Next #DIY job done: Porsche's PADM transmission mounts tend to fail quite regularly on the 981 and 718 leaving you with a nice 1.600€ bill. Usually it's only the sensor that fails, not the mount itself. Luckily some Chinese dude came up with a 120€ fix. #porsche #padm

Yay! Retrofitted Android Auto and Apple Carplay to the PCM 3.1. And while at it put a bit ouf sound dampening into the doors and upgraded the speakers. Successful weekend project I'd say.

First part of my little weekend project: Replacing the HDD in the PCM 3.1 of my Cayman with an SSD to proactively address typical HDD failures, resulting in a costly 4k replacement of the whole unit.

Next step is to retrofit the PCM with Android Auto.
